John Kennedy

John Kennedy is the current Pro World Record holder of the 200m Sprint. He lives in Melbourne.

John has been cycling since he was 14 years old, racing both here in Australia and in the USA.

His elite training and motivation at the highest level helped him understand more about the human body under pressure and its relevance to bicycle positioning.

His passion for cycling grew and he has translated his superior racing and training knowledge into a business.

In 1992 John Kennedy opened his doors to the retail world to give his gift to others. The success was immediate and it was one of the greatest revolutions in cycling. Cycle Fit was created and was ahead of its time

John Still actively races and trains. Recently winning the Victorian Master Championships in Melbourne 2006

Brigid Farrell

Born Melbourne 1986, Raised in East Bentleigh in a family of 10. Stared cycling at 13 years old, started training at Carnegie Caulfield Cycling Club where she took very quickly to track racing and in her first season won various state championships and was selected for the State team.

With a silver medal at the national championships, she was inspired further. She then competed at all State Road Championships – which she won. Silver at the National road championships.

The next track season saw Brigid win every Metropolitan, State and National Championship medal up for offer. After racing for the next twelve months Brigid decided to focusing on Business.

Looking forward to competing again, Brigid has decided to race again, but has said,

“ Competitive cycling comes and goes, It’s not healthy to live and breathe anything with out a decent brake, to be able to detach and be ambidextrous, have a solid job and be independent of others, this I believe is worth more than all the medals I have won.”

Meet the Team

Brigid Farrell

Brigid Lives in Melbourne and has been racing on the road and track since she was 14 Years old. She has won more than a dozen state championships and has Three National track titles. Medalling at the Youth Olympics in Sydney in 2003.

She is also a qualified bicycle Mechanic, and has an extensive knowledge of bike components, racing, training and instructional and tactical.
