Painting
We have two
types of paint colour systems. We have some house colours and
designs for you to choose from. This is a more cost effective way
for your new frame or bike.
We also have
a custom painting service. This is an additional cost to the frame
(we subsidise about 1/3 of the cost of painting). You can choose
1,2 or 3 colour designs. This may also add some time to your frames
process. (Approx 1-2 weeks)
Frame Standards
Kennedy Frames are
usually traditional shaped frame (non sloping) unless expressly
requested, intergrated head tubes are a standard, as is 1 1/8 fork
steerer. Seat post diameter will be wither 27.2 or 31.6. If a frame
was made before 2001/2002 these standards may
differ.
Expected
Duration of Custom Frame/ or complete bike
Generally it
can take 3 days-2 weeks for a bike to be completed ready to be
picked up.
The average
time is 1 week.
The final
stage of the process will require the rider to have a final fitting
on their bike, this usually takes 30 minutes. In this final set up
we fine tune the position and also make sure you are competant with
the new equipment.
Our frames
are Made in Australia and Tiawan (by an Italian company) and
Painted in Australia.
The Bicycles
are assembled in our studio and Parts are selected and Sourced from
all over the World
Warranties
Frames are covered by a 12 month
warranty, under normal riding conditions.
Frames are not covered
when:
Improperly assembled,
Improper follow-up maintenance, installation
of parts or accessories not originally intended for, or compatible
with, the bicycle as sold and damage or failure due to accident,
